I graduated from University of Cebu- Banilad Campus with the Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree last April 2011; I took and passed the Nursing Licensure examinations in the same year.
I was a part of the Human Resource team —sourcing department— as a Sourcing associate / Head Hunter, where I acted out as an English Communication Trainer. I also conducted phone and initial interview for the recruitment process, Made Job Caravan Events and Job Fairs alive and successful by Coordinating with all establishment’s personnels. Made our job fair events for Provincial Hiring possible by doing all the business organizing and business planning (from accommodation down to communication with event organizers), occasionally does all the task of Test Admin and Front Desk / Customer Relations Officer, Made reporting presentable and easy by creating database templates using MS Excel for Sourcing and Recruitment Department (Ex: Quality of Invites, Expenses, Inventory, Demographics, Pre-employment requirements, Background investigation results, and etc.). Ensured the quantity and quality of our applicants by doing resume mining from Mynimo.com and Jobstreet.com, does job posting via Mynimo.com and Jobstreet.com, Was successfully able to spread the company’s name by conducting some brainstorming activities and critical thinking to create doable and cost effective ideas or Marketing strategies (Since the company is still starting up), may it be by word of mouth; flyerings; streamer and banner; online job posting; participating into Job fair events; more job caravans in different locations where foot track is more evident.
I also have worked with large call centers / BPO companies, which were: Convergys’ Philippines, Stream Global International Services, and Telstra Powered by Teletech; my experiences in the BPO industry catalyze the assurance that my English communication Skills (Both writing and speaking) are already excellent. I have been consistently ranked as the number 1 performer in all call center (BPO) industries that I was acquainted with, for that, excellent customer service and human connection naturally comes out from me upon dealing with people around me, thus making it the precursor of my skills-set. In connection above, I was already rotated from different lines of businesses such as, Email Support (where I was appointed to “Proofread” the work of my teammates, and other teams as well); Chat Support; and Voice or Phone Support. Also, I won the first place of the Inter-school “English Essay writing contest” way back in high school.
I was also a Charge Nurse at Vicente Gullas Memorial Hospital for over a year which I developed and honed my inner embodied skills such as, leadership skills; critical thinking; decision making skills; coping with fast pace environment; and chiefly a team-player, especially in difficult times such as Code Blue. I had been assigned to different areas which honed me to easily cope with the diversities of the world, thus, being a fast learner was an advantage to my part. As a charge nurse, leadership is impossible without honing your critical thinking and decision making skills; nonetheless, basing on the experiences of my team, I could really say that all the uttermost important skills were definitely honed and much more developed. In addition, it is the prerogative of the Charge Nurse (Team Leader) to willfully impart its knowledge to their subordinates;
“I have the strong belief that you are a true Leader / Trainer if your trainees or subordinates will be as greater than you were, or even equally as great as you are.”
Recently, I had some part-time Virtual Administrative Assistant and sourcing online jobs; where I focused on researching (using the web and social media) and making data base on spreadsheets. I often use Boolean Searching techniques, to narrow down and filter my searches. I also have a compilation of powerful websites (some are already Boolean enabled) that I can use for searching people with contact details and professional profiles.
